Clint Perkinson serves as the Director of Information Technology at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware. A 210 bed community hospital Beebe that services the southern half of the state of Delaware. In his role, he is responsible leading technology infrastructure planning, deployment, enterprise standards, technology architecture and the IT governance process to ensure efficiency, quality, services, and cost effective management of IT resources.
Clint’s start in healthcare was at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana where he was the Operations and Communications Manager for six years. Part of that role was project management during the construction of a new hospital and coordinating the migration of technology to the new facility including the fit out of a new data center. Prior to his career in healthcare IT he served as an Electronics Technician in the United States Navy for 20 years with oversight of the preventive and corrective maintenance of radar and data communication systems. His military service is where he gained exposure to technology while working with computers, network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. In the military his focus was around providing a service to others and why he feels at home in healthcare IT surrounded by colleagues that don’t just work for a paycheck but go home every night knowing they have had a positive impact on the lives of others.
Clint serves as Vice Chair for the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Technology. He is also a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veteran’s Associations. He has a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from Strayer University in Washington D.C. and an Associate of Science in Electronics Technology from Pensacola Junior College in Pensacola, Florida.
